House Judiciary Committee chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said that Mueller’s latest court filing shows that the Trump campaign was engaged in a conspiracy to defraud the American people.

Rep. Nadler said on MSNBC’s The Beat with Ari Melber, “I certainly think it’s concerning in the context of collusion, or really in the context of a grand conspiracy could defraud the American people of an honest election, many pieces of which may come together. You look at this whole thing and you’ve got 18 or 19 people intimately involved in the campaign having over 100 contacts with Russians. In a normal campaign, nobody has any contact with a foreign government. We’ve forgot that. But everybody is talking to the Russians. Everybody’s lying about it to the Congress, to the FBI, et cetera until they’re threatened with prosecution, it certainly seems there is a conspiracy going on, and a lot people are parties to different facets of the conspiracy.
Nadler went on to say that Trump must have known that all of those Russia contacts were going on.

Forget about collusion. It is informative to view the Trump campaign as a giant conspiracy with a ton of moving parts that were all talking to Russians, as Russia was heavily embedded in the Trump campaign. It is impossible to believe that Donald Trump had no knowledge of the fact that almost everyone working on his campaign was talking to the Russians.
Trump had to have known what was going on because he publicly told the Russians to get Hillary Clinton’s emails.
The House Judiciary Committee appears to be focused on Trump’s attempts to defraud the American people out of a legitimate presidential election.
Collusion is small potatoes compared to an international act of fraud committed against every American citizen.
