CEO Who Claimed He Gave Raises Because of Trump’s Tax Cuts Lays Off 150 Employees

Long time Donald Trump supporter and My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell laid off 150 employees just months after crediting Trump’s tax cuts for creating an economic boom.

“Barely 6 months after he credited Trump’s tax cuts for creating a new economic boom, My Pillow boss Mike Lindell is laying off 150 employees,” Aaron Rupar pointed out on Friday.

The hazy trickle truth is tough with this one.

Praising Trump’s tax cuts, Lindell wrote just one month ago on April 15, “At MyPillow, we were able to give across-the-board raises of 5-10 percent to every employee thanks to President Trump’s 2018 tax cuts. Thanks to President Trump’s America First agenda, hope has turned into confidence for business owners and their employees in Minnesota and across the country. Wages are going up, and small business owners like myself are still eager to expand. In fact, small business optimism is now at all-time record levels.”

Here’s Mike Lindell telling his story to WCCO – CBS Minnesota about being a crack cocaine addict but finding a new life through God, which involves things like supporting fetuses but not women, and blaming the Better Business Bureau for lowering his rating from an A+ to an F on his support for Trump:

The President gave him a “pin” he wears, about which he said, “When him (sic) and I had met we talked about what I was going to be doing for the inner cities with private funds… I hope people give him a chance because it’s going to be amazing.”

“I know personally what the plans are,” Lindell said when asked about how concerned people were about Trump. “He’s gonna be the best uniter.”

Of course, Trump is actually the best divider. Lindell then explained how Trump was so impressed by Lindell’s business and how amazing everything was going to be. Almost like a drug high.

In April of 2017, MyPillow laid off about 140 workers at its Chaska facility.

Not to worry, employees! Lindell, who is one of the funders of the pro-life movie “Unplanned,” told Fox 9 “the impacted employees have been informed of other job opportunities outside of MyPillow.”

Opportunities, y’all. They’re almost like real jobs, only they don’t pay. Unplanned, you could say.

The former crack addict and starry-eyed Trump worshiper is going to launch a new store called: MyStore.com. This will be an online place where “entrepreneurs and inventors to sell their products.”

Like… Amazon already does. It’s going to be so amazing, give it a chance.
