Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) said that Trump is a liar and he believes the allegations made by writer E. Jean Carroll that Trump sexually assaulted her.

Rep. Cohen said on MSNBC, “The Republicans just lie that their mantra. They do it over and over again, and it all comes from their leader who said he never met this woman. I don’t know the woman who accused him of rape, but I would take Pinocchio’s word over trump because Pinocchio has a better record.”

Here was Trump’s denial from earlier in the day:
Trump has no credibility and his denial contains overtones of his attack on the Russia investigation and the Mueller report. Trump loves to play the victim, but Carroll is the sixteenth victim to come forward to accuse Trump of sexual assault.
Rep. Cohen used the term rape, Carroll did not, but the congressman’s point is the same. Trump does not deserve the benefit of the doubt or to be believed. As president, Trump has told over 11,000 lies and counting. There is no reason for anyone to believe that this time he is telling the truth.
