Trump Kills His Citizenship Question By Accidentally Admitting He Is Trying To Rig Elections

Trump accidentally admits what the White House is trying to hide from the courts. The president said that wants the citizenship question to rig congressional districts.

Trump admits that the citizenship question is about rigging elections

Trump said, “You need it for Congress, for redistricting. You need it for appropriations, where are the funds going? How many people are there? Are they citizens? Are they not citizens? You need it for many reasons.”

Trump lost in the Supreme Court because the court rejected the administration’s claim that they needed the citizenship question to enforce the Voting Rights Act. The DOJ has been struggling to come up with a new reason to justify the question, but after Trump opened his mouth, their efforts aren’t going to make a bit of difference.

The citizenship question is all about undercounting voters who likely to support Democrats so that Republicans can nationally gerrymander House districts.

Trump’s words will definitely be used in court, as the president opened his mouth, and for once admitted the truth. The citizenship question is all about rigging future elections to benefit the Republican Party.
