There is a part of Trump’s Ukraine call summary that was released to the public that was made up and attributed to the president of Ukraine.
As noted in The Washington Post:
Vindman also testified this week that the official record and rough transcript of the call included an inexplicable change. A vague eight-word phrase was added and attributed to Zelensky that the foreign leader never said. The specific word that Zelensky did say was omitted from the official record: “Burisma,” the Ukrainian company that employed Biden’s son Hunter. In its place, the official transcript used this instead: “the company that you mentioned in this issue.”
The reason for the insertion of a potentially fabricated phrase, which has not been previously reported, is unknown. Some argue that the transcribers simply misunderstood or missed the word but used a generic description. But it could be helpful to the president’s claim that he did not engage in a quid pro quo.

Trump’s transcript of the “perfect call” isn’t really a transcript, and it contains portions that were edited out and faked.
The White House is so incompetent that their edited and faked summary still contained enough evidence to get Trump impeached, which leaves one of two possibilities. Either the call was so bad that even the scrubbed version proves Trump’s guilt or Trump is awful at crime. These options aren’t mutually exclusive. It could be, and probably is, both.
The administration tried to hide the call, but thanks to the whistleblower complaint, the American people found out about it. Once Trump was caught, he tried to release a rough summary that contained fabricated parts.
None of this is what innocent people do.
The cover-up and the crime are both impeachable, which is why Democrats are going to need to draft at least two articles of impeachment for Donald Trump.
