The lawsuit filed by Renee Good's family is a reminder that Trump’s immunity for actions he takes as president is only criminal. The family of Renee Good is suing government officials like Stephen Miller, former officials like Kristi Noem and Corey Lewandowski, Greg Bovino, and the agents who shot Good and were at the scene of her death.

The Good family’s lawyer appeared on MS NOW’s The Weekend on Saturday morning where he talked about the lawsuit and the role that Donald Trump played in Good’s murder.

Attorney Antonio Romanucci said:

What we're saying is that Operation Metro Surge was the result of a conspiracy, and this conspiracy, we're saying, started from the very top. And what I mean by that is President Trump.

He is the one who designated Minneapolis to be a hellhole. He is the one who had awful derogatory statements to say about the Somali and Hispanic people in Minneapolis.

And as a result of those statements, those people working underneath him, including Steven Miller, Kristi Noem, and Corey Lewandowski, and Tom Homan, and Greg Bovino, they all bought into this, these lies, these false accusations, which resulted in the surge of thousands of American troops Custom Border Patrol, and ICE agents surging into Minneapolis, and then day by day violating the constitutional and, and denying people equal protection of their rights. And Rene was a casualty of this conspiracy.
