Reporters Left Journalism To Die As Trump Lost It On CNN's Kristen Holmes
Trump berated CNN journalist Kristen Holmes for asking him a newsworthy question. Instead of standing up for their profession, the other journalists in the Oval Office stood by and did nothing.
Donald Trump doesn’t berate reporters. Donald Trump targets and berates female reporters. You will find few clips of Trump berating the men who ask him questions, but Trump seems to take great offense at the idea that a woman would ask him a challenging question.
At an event where the president was meeting with the 16-year-old8 lifeguard who saved a boy from drowning in California, Trump took questions from the reporters in attendance.

While Trump was meeting with teenage lifeguards, his administration canceled military exercises with South Korea. This development has raised concerns in Asia about the reliability of the United States as a security partner.
There is also the question of what role Trump’s relationship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un played in the decision.
At first, Trump said, “ But I get along with him very well. No, what I'm doing is making things safer.”
Holmes asked Trump, “ Diid he (Km Jong-un) ask you- Mr. President. Did he ask you- Mr. President ... to scale back on those?”
Trump responded by attacking Holmes, “ Quiet, quiet, quiet. You're very disrespectful, in front of this young man. Okay? Don't you find her disrespectful? He understands. Quiet. Who are you with? I'm with CNN. Fake news. I just wanted to follow up- You're fake news ... on the South Korea question. You're a loud, you're a loud, boisterous person. You're fake news.”

The story isn’t just that Trump couldn’t handle a challenging question, but it is also how the reporters in the room chose to handle one of their own being attacked.
