Maybe I just worry that people will forget. There are a lot of concerns about housing programs being cut by the bill and energy bill help that hadn’t been discussed either.

It doesn’t cost a penny to let a reporter snag you for an interview or an article.

Make it a point to get those invitations happening every day, all day.

Use their social media to it’s fullest potential, all day every day.

They need to get creative because the MAGA bus is full of people telling the same story every day, in unison, loud and clear.

Yes, it's so easy to post something without catching an error you made, or more likely, your autocorrupt "corrected".

The 2 most common misspellings I see are "loose" for "lose", & "lead" for "led", also homonyms of "your", "their", "to" & "its" (which my autocorrupt always reflexively changes to "it's"), which are so easy to make. Punctuation keeps getting worse -- makes me wonder if punctuation is even taught in schools anymore) -- & their lack or misplacement, especially commas, makes some sentences hard to comprehend.

p.s. checking what I typed helped me catch & correct 2 errors: "punctuation" without the "c" & "misplacement" which my autocorrupt changed to "displacement". Hopefully I didn't miss any other errors, but it's possible.

Expand full comment

30% of 75 million is about 22 million; that's a good pool of voters to try an win back. Remember, Agent orange only won in 2024 by a net of some 240,000 votes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Plus, there were some 3 million voters that voted in 2020 but not in 2024 to win back.

Johnson Controls the House by a net of some 9,300 votes in five districts; Iowa 1st, Colorado 8th, Pennsylvania 7th, Pennsylvania 10th and Pennsylvania 8th.

However, maga knows this. Therefore, planning an election and having an election are two different things.

The Dem Plan is a piece of cake. Honor the Promises Made to the American People over the past 80 Years since the Great Depression to start. Step One is to Scrape the Filibusterer in the Senate and let Majority Rule again. Step Two is enforce Ethics in All Three Branches along with enforcement of Congressional Subpoenas with stiff penalties for not showing up and only allow real "answers" or Claim 5th. Step Three is Undo all this Crap. Step Four is to Pack The Supreme Court in 2029 with 4 More Progressive Seats and Undo the Real Perverted Crap the court created. Step Five is to Restore the First Amendment right of The People to Petition Our Government Directly which was destroyed in 1836 by the slave States.

Of course this is all predicated on actual Elections in 2026 onward and Democrats Winning Our Country Back which will require All The People to buck up and chip in.

I fear this energy will lose steam and be ineffective when needed. The cons kept a key part close to the vest (and let us clutch our pearls about the heinous cuts) by making the effective dates 2027. The anger will subside when they aren't affected by the Medicaid and SNAP cuts this year or next. The propaganda machines will put their dreck about how it was left overreacting. They'll also play the positive parts, such as the $6000 deduction that most social security recipients will get, the increased standard deduction, and the ability to take deductions for SALT and charitable giving without itemizing (I will benefit from these points). So come November 2026 the anger might have dissipated and the Republicans at home will dutifully vote for the R candidate on the ballot.

My thoughts exactly and this was purposefully done. The cowards (AKA Republicans) look at their reflections in the mirror every day and preen??? They actually feel good about their actions? They fear orange will primary them, but they don't fear the voters? I have been consistent with my messaging to Rick Scott, Gus Bilirakis and Ashley Moody that they are cowards and actual trash. And that I and my cohorts will work very hard to see that they lose their jobs, but this is FL. It should actually be called the state of Desatan.
