I wish I could be more sympathetic, but I can’t imagine anyone falling for Trump’s lies.

This is another of the many scams that Trump has pulled in his career to screw workers. His main objective is to use the presidency to line his pockets. The tax cuts that he is seeking line his and his crony's pockets.

My reading of morning news actually had a quote from trump that he was sorry he had not cashed in more during his first term. Pitiful...'ask not ...' Ha. We have a self-serving con man in our highest office.

Imagine being hated by the majority of the human race or at least the.majority of people in industrialized countries.

It would be comical, evil genius kind of trope. But even comically evil geniuses do evil in ways that advance their twisted cause.

If you mention the Idiot there is no one who doesn't know who you're talking about.

But being the actual most hated individual (with Musk as a close second) has got to hurt .

No one should be shocked. You got conned by a conman. It's switch and bate. If you voted for trump it must be hard to see that you were conned. If you are truly honest with yourself you'll find that he lies to everyone to get people to by into ways that only line his pocket. He doesnt care about others..only about himself. That's a hard realization. He's actually anti usa...since he doesn't care about anyone but himself. Very sad...would you let your kids swim with Kennedy in Rick creek like he did with his grand kids....thise r the if people he put into his cabinet...even his education person called AI...A1...brilliant choice for thst slot...its call pay to play...

I’m confused and concerned. Each union I’ve belonged to has offered great insurance, especially Hotel and Restaurant Workers. Is that no longer true? Why are they on Medicaid? Or anything other than private insurance - has the cost of health care made it impossible?

The overwhelming majority of US restaurant workers are not unionized.

It is reprehensible what Trump is doing to restaurant workers! Always a backhanded gesture, tip tax relief vs lose health coverage only that part is not clearly part of the big hype campaign promise. Most of us have come to listen for that second shoe to drop and we steer clear. Too many still believed his promises! Why?

Many folks who have medical insurance need more, hence they are on Medicaid. Florida recently bounced many of us off Medicaid and food stamps, then asked us to reapply. The new application is horrendous.
