A a Suffolk University poll last week showed Sanders at 31 percent compared to Hillary Clinton’s 41 percent, while a a CNN/WMUR poll Thursday shows Clinton with just an 8 point lead.
With his numbers climbing, Sanders’ popularity in New Hampshire may be less an issue right now than his party status, as running as a Democrat may be problematic.
On July 1, Sanders will appear in Madison, Wisconsin, at Veterans Memorial Coliseum at Alliant Energy Center, and he will move on to Rochester, Minnesota, the next day at the Rochester International Event, before moving on to Iowa, which has swung Democrat in three of the last four elections.
