In A Truly Sick Moment, Trump Uses Orlando Attack To Suggest Obama Is A Secret Muslim

Donald Trump showed that he has no low as he tried to use the terrorist attack in Orlando to suggest that President Obama is a secret Muslim during an interview on Fox News.

Trump was asked on Fox and Friends about President Obama not referring to radical Islam in his remarks on Fox and Friends and said, “What I want them to do is be tough and vigilant. Our government, we’re led by a man that is a very– look, we’re led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he’s got something else in mind. And the something else in mind, you know, people can’t believe it. People cannot — they cannot believe that President Obama is acting the ways he acts and can’t even mention the words radical Islamic terrorism. There’s something going on. It’s inconceivable. There’s something going on, and I know there’s gonna be.”

Donald Trump is in full conspiracy overdrive. Trump views the Orlando terrorist attack as his chance to mainstream his hate and bigotry, and he is relentlessly pushing baseless conspiracy theories.

Every American is witnessing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee attempt exploit and gin up fear in our society to win a presidential election.

Trump sounds like an insane conspiracy theorist, because that is who he is. The Republican Party has nominated a birther conspiracy theorist for president who has no idea that what plays well on Fox News and conservative talk radio is going to get him crushed in a general election.

Trump’s comments and conduct in the aftermath of Orlando have been shameful. Instead of guiding the nation through the mourning process, Trump has sought to make people afraid of immigrants, refugees, and Muslims.

If it is true that a person’s true character is revealed in a crisis, Donald Trump has shown the nation a character that is unfit to lead.
