Don't Miss Sarah Jones's Essay On Kristi Noem Titled Predatory Is The Point On The Daily.
After Donald Trump sorta made up his Veep mind and then not and then yes and then take backs and then yes again, to the point that he is taking a redo announcement this morning– like presidents do, the Clinton campaign put out a pretty devastating ad called “Indecisive Donald”.
Watch the skittish, scattershot decision making of Donald Trump regarding his VP, as cut together by Hillary for America:
Trump’s own campaign manager said he “emotionally reacted” to the tragic attacks in Nice, lending a stop and go jolting quality to Trump’s almost announcement take back.
But in the end, Trump picked Pence because that’s who the Republican Party told him to pick, and it seems in turn he got their help to make moot the Stop Trump efforts that were threatening Trump’s rise at the upcoming convention.
Having won against members of his own party who don’t want Trump as their nominee, Trump and his peoples spread the gloat all over TV and the internet. Like presidents do.
In the past few days, Trump has blown several opportunities to disprove that he isn’t fit for the White House, and instead he made sure to solidify the impression that he is an emotionally erratic, petty, self-aggrandizing blowhard with a propensity for whining when things don’t go his way.
Imagine Donald Trump in the situation room, watching as his order to get Bin Laden was executed: Oh wait, there’s a problem, STOP! You’re fired! Oh, okay it’s good now, go get him! Oh, wait, the press wasn’t here for that, redo. Wanna redo!… No, I really don’t want to get Bin Laden after all. Just get his family, you know that’s how you get terrorists. Yeah, yeah, that’ll work. It’s gonna be great. It’s huge. It’s great. We’re gonna win so much you’re gonna be sick of winning.
Yikes. The VP decision wasn’t even a sudden, emergency type situation. Trump had months to think it through. Still he couldn’t quite stick with it.
Donald Trump would fire someone for incompetence if he or she behaved like this on the Apprentice.
