Deranged Trump Claims Real Problem Not Russian Hacking But Giving Debate Q to Hillary

Donald Trump continues to sweat out hacking allegations against his pal Vladimir Putin. He claims it’s all nonsense but if so, you have to question why he continues to obsessively post about it. This morning, he cited a Sean Hannity interview with Julian Assange to claim,

“Julian Assange said “a 14 year old could have hacked Podesta” – why was DNC so careless? Also said Russians did not give him the info!”

Of course, Putin-puppet Assange is not the most reliable of witnesses, as Trump’s gullibility during the debates proved.

Even Sen. Tom Cotton, hardly a favorite of Democrats, says “I have a lot more faith in our intelligence officers … than I do in people like Julian Assange.”

Another Republican, Mitch McConnell, seconded by Vice President Joe Biden, have called Assange a “high-tech terrorist.” And this is the guy Trump is quoting in opposition to our own intelligence services.

Keep that in mind when you read Trump’s follow-up tweet:

Then Trump continues with the deflection and blame-shifting, not to mention victim-blaming, by flaunting his “I know all about hacking” knowledge with use of such highly technical terms as “hacking defense”:

Which leads directly to him pointing his finger at the “real enemy” here, who is not Vladimir Putin or himself, but none other than Hillary Clinton, who subverted two centuries of Democracy by allegedly being given a debate question in advance (and never mind that claim has been thoroughly debunked):

It’s a double standard, he cries with tears of bitterness, a double standard! Nobody does it better, substituting fake facts for real. This is classic Trump when he is not simply accusing others of what he himself did, covering up his own sins by inventing sins about others.

It is laughable to think that even if it were true, Clinton getting a debate question in advance would compare in any universe to Trump benefiting from Russian hacking, but that’s the story he’s selling and the one some Republicans are eager to embrace.

After all, as they learned long ago, they don’t have to prove a thing: they simply have to cast doubt. And Trump’s false claims about the media giving Democrats a pass, he knows perfectly well who is getting the pass.
