If there was any doubt about whether things could get worse for Donald Trump, it was removed on Monday afternoon when a massive “Impeach Trump” sign stole the show on Opening Day at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

While it’s never good news for a Republican president to see this type of response at an MLB game – after all, baseball fans typically lean conservative – it could have been much worse for Trump. The Washington Nationals had extended an invitation to Trump to throw out the first pitch, but he declined, likely because he was afraid of this very response.
That still didn’t stop these politically active baseball fans from expressing their disappointment in the new president – a belief that is held by a growing number of Americans as Trump’s approval rating continues to fall to new lows with each passing day.
It should also be noted that the Nationals were able to secure their first win of the season on Monday. Trump, on the other hand, is still winless.
