Boy Scouts Issue Formal Apology For Lunatic Trump’s Madman Rant At National Jamboree

For the first time ever, the Boy Scouts had to issue a formal apology after hosting Donald Trump’s insane political ranting at their national jamboree.

Chief Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, Michael Surbaugh, apologized to the entire scouting community for Trump’s speech, “I want to extend my sincere apologies to those in our Scouting family who were offended by the political rhetoric that was inserted into the jamboree. That was never our intent. The invitation for the sitting U.S. President to visit the National Jamboree is a long-standing tradition that has been extended to the leader of our nation that has had a Jamboree during his term since 1937. It is in no way an endorsement of any person, party or policies. For years, people have called upon us to take a position on political issues, and we have steadfastly remained non-partisan and refused to comment on political matters. We sincerely regret that politics were inserted into the Scouting program.”

Trump’s speech was extremely partisan and loaded with inappropriate language for a non-political gathering. The truth is that Trump doesn’t care that he politicized a speech that should have been apolitical. Trump was so out of his gourd that he thought the Boy Scouts were there for him and began babbling about the crowd size and going into his campaign rally mode.

It is a tradition for the Boy Scouts to invite the president to address their national gathering, but other nonpartisan organizations should think twice after watching Trump abuse the platform to push his agenda.

Trump showed complete disrespect to the Boy Scouts. Here is hoping that they, and other organizations, never invite the President to speak to them again.
