Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s primary sexual assault accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, is still receiving death threats. In fact she is receiving so many serious and alarming threats to her life that she has been unable to move back into her California home.
A lawyer for Dr. Ford, Debra Katz, was interviewed by Kasie Hunt from NBC News and told her that it’s going to be “quite some time” before Dr. Ford and her family will feel safe enough to return to their home.
“Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s attorneys tell @kasie that Ford is still not living at home and can’t for “quite some time.”
She is still receiving “unending” death threats.”

“Her family has been through a lot,” Katz said. “They are not living at home. It’s going to be quite some time before they’re able to live at home. The threats have been unending. It’s deplorable.”
“It’s been very frightening,” the attorney added.
Two weeks ago Dr. Ford was on television giving testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee. In her compelling account of the alleged sexual assault by Kavanaugh she said that the Supreme Court Justice pinned her down in a bedroom of a home in Maryland and tried to take off her clothes. She said that during a high school house party in 1982 Kavanaugh held his hand over her mouth so she couldn’t scream while he tried to rape her.
Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court on Saturday after a prolonged, highly partisan battle that included sexual assault allegations from two other women, Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick.
Kavanaugh has unsurprisingly denied all of the sexual assault allegations against him.
During her NBC interview attorney Katz strongly criticized the FBI’s limited-scope investigation into the accusations against Kavanaugh. She said it was not complete and not thorough since dozens of potential witnesses were not interviewed. The FBI did not interview either Dr.Ford or Kavanaugh as part of their investigation.
Ford’s other attorney Lisa Banks was also part of the NBC interview. Both Banks and Katz said Dr. Ford was “horrified” by Donald Trump’s derogatory comments about her last week. In one of his campaign rallies he openly mocked Ford’s testimony and attempted to destroy her credibility.
“She was upset by what Trump said, yes, as any woman would be who’s the victim of sexual assault who was mocked and belittled by anyone, never mind the president of the United States,” Banks said.
