Donald Trump Is Refusing To Read The Mueller Report

Last updated on March 28th, 2019 at 02:50 pm

The White House is doesn’t know if Trump will read the Mueller report, which is odd, considering that Trump is falsely claiming exoneration based on the report.

On Sunday evening, White House Deputy Press Secretary, Hogan Gidley told reporters, according to the White House pool report, “He said the president was briefed before he left Mar-a-Lago in his private quarters by staff and attorneys. Hogan said they did not have access to the full confidential report at that time. Instead, they reviewed Barr’s letter to Congress, which has since been made public. He said it’s unclear if the president will view the whole report.”

If The Mueller Report Is So Great For Trump Why Won’t He Read It And Release It?

If the Mueller report were such a great development for Republicans, they would be clamoring for its release so that the public could see it. Republicans are trying to bury the report under a wave of spin. They don’t want the public to see the real report. Instead, they are selling a summary of findings from Trump‘s attorney general.

Republicans are mounting a PR campaign while hiding the Mueller report

Republicans are running a fact-free PR campaign. The name of the game here is to put out their own version of the findings while hiding the real report at least until after the 2020 election. Trump hasn’t won or been vindicated. This is the move that everyone was expecting. Trump was either going to fire Mueller or hide the report and put out his own version.

Since he couldn’t get away with firing Mueller, Trump has gone with option number two.

What the American people must do now is stay focused on the facts. Trump is trying to create a circus in the hope that people will forget about the Mueller report. This is nothing more than a PR stunt. It will fade from view, but Democrats must stay focused on getting Mueller‘s full report to the American people.
