Rep. Al Green (D-TX) called Trump the epitome of hate and said that people had told him to go back to where he came from.
Rep. Green said on MSNBC, “I know what ‘send them back’ means. I’ve had it said to me. I’ve had people chase me because they wanted me to go back. When I was a child, a gang of young anglo men chased me. I’ve had a cross burned in my honor, I say, but it was a cross that was burned for me. I know what hate is all about. And this president is expressing the epitome of hate. What he is doing to this young member of congress is an extreme insult, it is the height of indignity, and if we don’t take affirmative action, we’re only going to allow him to continue. If he believes he has no guardrails, he will do whatever he can to win. It’s all about winning with him, and he doesn’t mind using the most insane, inane ideology to accomplish it.”

Hate, bigotry, and racism are more than a political strategy for Donald Trump. They are what is in his heart and his way of life. Trump is the epitome of hate. This president never sincerely expresses happiness and unity. He is a dark cloud over the United States that constantly appeals to the worst elements of society. Trump knows that he isn’t popular, and the only way that this tyranny of the minority can continue if he keeps the country divided and focused on each other instead of paying attention to him.
Trump is hate, and America must be strong enough to overcome it’s ugliest divisions to reject this president.
