My view is that if Netanyahu wants a war with Iran, he should fight it with zero US aid or assistance. Israel is free to do what it wants, but the US doesn't have to go along.---Jason

Yes. Why should we be involved? This isn’t defending Democracy. It’s two dictators (Netanyahu has suspended elections as long as Israel is at war) waiting to see who blinks first. He has no incentive to make peace with anyone. True, there is the possibility of nuclear annihilation, but our troops wouldn’t be able to prevent it. We need to mind our own business. Decisions made by committee generally have poor outcomes.

Netanyahu has gone all “Israel needs lebensraum!” Since October 7th. A more cynical person than I might even say that, despite all the horror and suffering on both sides, Bibi secretly rejoiced in the event, because he certainly has been balls-to-the-wall with aggressive imperialistic moves since that day.

Two weeks...why is it always two weeks with this incompetent traitor?🤣🤣 The most predictable fraud I've ever seen. Unbelievable that Magats think he's so strong and smart. I'm like, wtf are you hearing and seeing? This nightmare needs to end soon.

Hhhmmmmm...2 weeks or 90 days - does it depend on the products are made? Or how far away they are from us? Or how far right the company's owners are? How important the decision is? Whether or not it's close to nap time? Has anyone figured that one out yet?

I remember during his first term being questioned about when he would announce the details of his health plan to replace Obama Care : several times he answered "two weeks". It was never revealed. And what about his infrastructure bill? "We'll have it announced in two weeks". It never happened.

In other words, any time Donald says he'll have a decision in two weeks, it simply means he's got no fucking idea what he's going to do. Leader of the Free World my ass!

Ain't that the truth... it is a bit perturbing, though. What if this had been a real crisis and the situation was reversed where we had to make a decision to go to war? It is more than just a little disturbing to have this wishy washy numb nuts at the helm.

Should have known he was going to peter out when he questioned the effectiveness of the bunker busting bomb he supposedly had sent over there. Damned wasteful expenses on the tax payers dime to play these kind of dick wagging games with the world. No wonder the Pentagon never passes an audit.

I MAY DO IT, I MAY NOT DO IT

I don’t know what I’m doing and what I’m going to do, but I’ll know when it’s time to declare, only me is responsible for whatever was achieved, and when I do, “it” was always my strategy. That’s how I’ve been right about everything!

Trump has dementia. That's first. Second, he hasn't the faintist clue what it means to be a world leader and a commander in chief. Trump has no business commiting the U.S. to a war with Iran because Fox News tells him he should. His entire administration is crippled with bone spurs and not one of his advisers is competent to tell him anything that involvles US. troops. They proved that in Los Angeles!

Of course, Congress has put the brakes on Trump's foolishness by making it clear with motions on the House floor that he won't be able to pretend he doesn't know he doesn't have the authority to enter Netanyahu's dumb war without its authorization; his anti-semitic Maga followers don't support it, and except for a handful of the usual war-mongers in the GOP, few Americans support risking the lives of American troops for no sane reason whatsoever...so it may very well take at least two weeks for him to figure out who to sue or manipulate, which won't save Israel at this point...

I believe in calling things what they are (and taco is always appropriate to describe him) but let’s be careful we don’t push him back to attacking just to try to prove he’s not a taco.

Honestly when I saw that Putin had objected to his planned attack I thought he might change his mind.

As much as I’m on board with seeing him fail at everything though I don’t want our military at risk for Taco or Netanyahu.

Can I ask a question? Just read “Cowardly Trump goes full TACO”… in the script, the writer said “Netanyahu ignored Trump when he asked him not to attack Israel.” Doesn’t he mean IRAN? Does anyone edit this before it goes out to readers? I find a lot of this on Substack.

My feeling: this is a truly dire situation.History tells us that the US getting involved will most probably cause immense suffering to potentially millions of people. The solution is a negotiated settlement and I welcome the fact that Trump realizes that. Ironically and sadly, Trump destroyed the negotiated settlement which was working in his first term and doesn’t seem to have the patience or understanding to do the immense amount of work needed to put another one together in two weeks. But I do pray that he makes the right decision.

He isn't going to do anything. The Ayatollah is not going to come to him. Drumpf has no people skills, regardless of his 'snake charming' capabilities. He has no concept of how to approach another culture. The Ayatollah is not going to come crawling to drumpf, even if Putin where to whisper in his ear the magic words of how to manipulate him. Drumpf pushed that deal off the table, stomped on it, and set it on fire, and is now running away screaming like a baby. He will saber rattle here and there, but there will be zero/zilch/no deal with Iran. It will be interesting to see just exactly what does happen since Netanyahu started a war drumpf told him not to - see, another one who ignores drumpf. Bibi may have to get himself out of this one all on his own because drumpf, by starting down this entire path, just gave over his power to the Ayatollah.

If Trump decides to let Israel fight wars that it starts, I give credit to Trump. Only an idiot neoliberal could support Israel's continual attacks and land grabs on other Middle Eastern nations--which if not stopped NOW will lead to world destruction. Have some sense!
