Good! I’ve been hoping they would speak up and do this. If the reports are true, it is hard to see any legal basis at all for DOJ/FBI actions.

It appears that federal justice department is violating the supremacy clause of the US Constitution. There will be no protection provided by the partisan/derelict Supreme Court. Can Americans look to an international court for protection?

Great question. Now that we can no longer get justice based on the Constitution or well-established laws, do we ask the international court? Just imagine the sputtering rage of the GOP & Trump.

Good. The FBI has no jurisdiction when there has been no evidence of any federal wrongdoing by these legislators from Texas. It is my understanding that the Texas state constitution provides a section where you can break quorum. So maybe the Trump administration should have those FBI people go back and keep working on redacting his name from the Epstein files

At this point, the Epstein files are so neutered that they’re probably worthless.

Trump doesn’t care about the rule of law, only his blind objective. Anyone that still supports this loser, doesn’t see the pure evil in his soul. He does t have a heart. It’s just fake 24 karat gold

Fools gold for the fools that voted for him and the voters that didn’t vote to avoid this disaster.

The legal basis? An edict from the king! Please read Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. I cannot believe how many parallels there are and how pertinent it is to these times. Published 136 years ago, Twain was prophetic!

It’s essential the Democrats have a ‘scorched earth policy’ to attack every Republican overreach and bring them to account.

This always reminds me of the dog that chases cars... What would the dog do if it ever caught one?

You can arrest the Texas Dems, you can force them back to Texas -- but then are you going to force them into the State House? Hand cuff them to their Seats? MAKE them vote?

These MAGAmorons have not thought this through as they create this political improv theatre. Dumb asses!

love it! either we are going to be a nation of laws or it is all out anarchy. let's calrify for EVERYONE what really is going on here.If Trump has decided we are abandoning the laws and the constituiton, have him state that. like rewriting and redoing the 14th ammendment and the census. If he plans to just full on disregard laws (and the Supreme Court is going to enable it).. let the American (or what was once the American people) clearly understand what they have and and what they have voted for...

Power to the people! Stop the Republican insanity. If they go after the Texas democrats then I want the Republicans in congress to be hauled back to force the vote on the release of the Epstein files!

I agree with their actions…which are totally within the law, and clearly exposes the solely political moves that Trump and the state of Texas are attempting utilizing Federal assets. Most important is the fact that Democrats are not staying silent…but are fighting back. Especially when they are right!!!

Do what you can, using every legal tactic available to you! Democrats must unite, get over themselves and press every grievance, every misuse of power! To every elected official: As often as possible, make noise, get on any media platform available, let us know you are fighting back. Fighting for us. You have power. USE IT.

Are they missing the point of the Republicans that left DC so they wouldn't have to vote on the Epstein files and Trumps involvement. Do I smell a double standard, or is it just Diaper Donnie?

Thankfully we still have people in politics that believe in the rule of law and are willing to show the American people that they are willing to stand up to a wanta be dictator and do the job they were elected to do, instead of kissing the ass of Trump or Abbott when they go off the rail and try to arrest members of the Texas State House because they couldn't get their way and screw thousands of Texans. This will blow up in the faces of all of those who think they can avert the law and do as they want. Thank you Representatives. Rankin, Garcia, Crockett and Casar those of us who believe in the Rule of Law stand firmly with you!

It about time these vile predators had the tables turned on them and finally be confronted and exposed for their unethical methods of cheating due to their inept and aggressive attacks to destroy any form of an equitable and balanced voting system. If we dont stay vigilant now , there will be No system of voting in America under Trump's regime.
