Nancy Mace is an idiot. The proliferation of guns in this country is directly related to NANCY’S ACTIONS. She can kiss my ass. No one knows why Charlie Kirk was killed but I know one thing, he fought to let anyone have a gun. This is what happens when anyone can get access to a gun Nancy.

It is not idiocy. She knows exactly what she is doing. Mace is rage baiting and trying to divide for political gain. People need to stop dismissing this as stupidity. It is an intentional strategy, and it works with their base, every single time.---Jason

I didn’t dismiss anything. And newsflash, we are already divided. This country is ripe for political violence and yes the right knows that and refuses to do anything about include being a bit more responsible with their speech. That’s where we are…and quite frankly I am a bit more concerned about what trump says in blaming the left than I am Nancy Mace.

I’m with you, and I’m not sure why MSM would put her vile rhetoric front and center. What happened today is a result of the fomenting hate continually spewed to divide us!

It’s not a democrat-republican issue. It really is stupidity. Mace is stupid, allergic to trans people. Calls them “tranny”. She needs to grow a brain, and a heart.

She’ll never do that. She’s too busy trying to leverage some topic to her advantage to advance her career. I live in SC and despise how much attention she gets from her performative antics.

That's what I thought...the Libs I know would never think of owning a gun. It would've been a trained marksman, maybe ex military who wants to start a civil war.

It's the shooter's fault. Millions of us in America listen to divisive language like his but would never think about hurting or killing the speaker. Reasonable gun laws would keep guns from this kind of people but I don't see that happening. Innocent Kindergartners and grade schoolers are shot into little pieces and so unrecognizable that their parents DNA must be used to piece them together and yet nothing is done about gun laws. All violence is horrific, words and otherwise. All shootings are senseless.

Every ACCUSATION is an ADMISSION OF GUILT on their part. They are SO FAR removed from the moral high ground or any shred of reality on the issue of gun violence that there’s really no point in trying to talk to them about it. It’s not even a point you can credibly debate any more. 🤦🏻‍♂️🙄😒

We have seen this behavior before when the last maga cult was destroyed. They were so far gone that American GI's had to make them dig the graves of the Men, Women and Children that they had just put into gas chambers... at Gunpoint! They still claimed it to be a hoax as they choked and vomited on the stench of death.

Also, jumping to saying this is political assassination is irresponsible. No one knows who did this or what the motive is.

That said, GOP electeds and provocateurs on the right ratchet up the rhetoric and target people on the left every day and they don’t think twice about it.

This administration is ripping people’s families apart, grabbing and disappearing people from the streets, lying about important issues that affect people’s lives like who pays for a tariff. FFS, Donald Trump is probably a pedophile and they make excuses and lie for him! They think they can just do whatever they want and there will be no consequences.

That’s not how life works.

People are pissed. They need to wake up because they have created the perfect storm for violence.

We are in what I call a cold civil war. We don't have troops out on the battlefield, but there are incidents such as this one, the politicians in Minnesota, and the attack on Paul Pelosi as examples of skirmishes.

Instead of trying to calm things down, trump** is doing his best to ratchet things up in a variety of ways -- inflammatory rhetoric, sending troops into blue states (because there's no crime in red states, you see), and making fun of things like the Minnesota murders and the attack on Paul.

There is worse ahead.

Expand full comment
Tiffany Allegretti's avatar

Agreed. America chose this leadership and we’re getting the result.

One thing is abundantly clear: trump is responsible for the ratcheting up of the political temperature and he doesn’t really care about the result.

Removing a former elected’s Secret Service protection like he’s done with the Biden children, VP Kamala Harris and John Bolton well, doing that literally puts a target on that person’s back.

He could take protection away and not announce it, but no he has to tell the world, this person no longer has protection so here they are. Trump is disgusting for doing this, petty, irresponsible and a view into just how dark trump’s soul is.

Democrats have NEVER done anything like this. He is such a disgrace and piece of shit.
