Good! I was reading through it and seething about all of the important programs we would lose. It was written in such a condescending tone too. So happy to hear that there’s pushback from even the Republicans!

What should be cut are the BILLIONS paid to musk! We definitely do not want to cut Defense since trump is making so many enemies and we will not have our allies to back us up. Cutting NIH is just plain wrong! Cutting any resources that help the needy are wrong. I am thrilled that Trump’s initial budget is dead in the water. However, he is going to rain his displeasure down on Republicans who voted against it. I hope that they stand fast in their opposition.

The midterms should be the opportunity for the average American voter to let the republicans know that they serve their constituents not a wannabe dictator!

We need to make sure Donny’s terrible ideas are out in front of the public along with specifics of how it will affect and harm every day people.

Maganuts may never change their minds but many others who voted for him may when faced with more info about his cruelty and privilege. One can hope.

Yes, the Republicans definitely do need to stand up for what is actually right, not what is devastatingly wrong!

However, so do the Democrats. We need to fight fire with fire, we need to match energies (without stooping to their (and Trump's) level of namecalling and outright slander. We Democrats (and those in Congress) need to stop worrying about "proper decorum". Republicans don't follow any decorum!

If figures that McConnell would slam President Biden, instead of just slamming trump.

Yea, noticed that, too. Made me furious. I’ll probably be dead before any Republican admits Biden got us out of a serious crisis. McConnell belongs in a home.

Absolutely! If Hell exists, I hope that the Hell's concierge saves a place for McConnell right next to Trump. Trump will brag about all his "wins" driving McConnell crazy. McConnell will ignore Trump; thus creating Trump's worst nightmare: no attention.

McConnell had the ability to stop Trump during the second impeachment, yet he once again put party, power, and pettiness before country. He sickens me and I'm only an outside observer, a Canadian.

What about the tax cuts to billionaires that’s what we need to get rid of is we need to end those tax cuts. That needs to be the main topic of discussion not want to cut.

Absolutely!! That ANYONE is ok with that as the premise for all this nonsense is unthinkable in itself. Especially when MAGA is pushing for it?? And the Trump family public grift and theft SHOULD BE unthinkable!!

I am not and will never be a Trump fan. I do miss Joe Biden's compassion and genuine caring about Americans, rich or poor, I will leave that there. I have a question , who is going to address the concern of Donald's mental decline? He questioned " do I have to obey the constitution"? ( this was in a recent interview.) this would be a good time to ask of our God to stand beside us and guide us through these times. thank you, Jeanne Berry

Perhaps many courageous, everyday Americans will rise up and overthrow the current corrupt, unlawful regime. Trump is just the tip of the iceberg, a distraction who garners all the attention, while the staff within his regime destroy the government from within.

Oh, yes!!!!! YES! YES! YES! PINO the Great Grifter needs to be removed from office. He is a national disaster and traitor to the US and our Constitution. And his High-Power Oligarch "friends" need to be tagged along with him. Put their NAMES out to the PUBLIC so we know who is controlling him and ruining our country! Project 2025 is a program to defeat Democracy!!

Time to turn the tables of the Grifters of the United States!! Time for the Republicans to qcquire some intestinal fortitude and do the job they were ELECTED to do. If NOT, they are NO DIFFERENT!! C'mon America! Let's take our country back!!

YES!

I am waiting for a final confirmation that is, in fact not passed!

Those in Congress (and at every level of government) need to remember that we "hired" them when they were elected. They work for us, not for Trump.

It is absolutely amazing to me that every elected Republican representative lacks a spine and a conscience. They all know full well that tRump is nothing more than a side show carnival barker. Even worse, he cannot read or speak, let alone think about what he is doing or saying. He knows nothing of economics, politics, geography, history, and certainly cannot do math. He is the perfect face of a party that will once stood for something. It is disgusting.
