The only problem with this polling nonsense is that POLLS don’t speak to the entire nation, and don’t push him out of the White House!

I’ve never been polled, nor has anyone I know. We all are politically very aware and well versed. I wish a poll could be legitimate fodder to demand impeachment proceedings to begin!!

I was push-polled once, when Cory Booker was up for re-election for Senate. The questions came from Cory’s machine, and were designed to make his opponent look bad, which was an easy feat.

For kicks and giggles, I gave answers supporting the opposition. Cory had been my boss for seven years. I voted for him in the Senate race, of course.

I often get an β€œEMERGENCY SURVEY!!!” from right-wing outfits, asking a bunch of loaded questions about how the greatness of America stands at the brink, and do you support our cause? The last question, of course, is, β€œWe need your money.” That’s the real β€œEMERGENCY SURVEY.”

I send them back, on their dime, covered with rude remarks.

The damage Trump has done to this country may never be repaired. I hope the Republican Party drowns in its evil Project 2025.

Let's see.

He was an absolutely horrendous President the first time around.

And people expected something different?

The only difference is he is more demented than before.

Here's hoping the tens of millions who did not vote for Kama and those lap dogs that voted for Trump are happy.

Meanwhile, all of us are going to suffer over the next 2-4 years.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Americans made a monumental error in judgement by reelecting this total disaster and flawed person back into the office of President! It’s so hard to believe that a man who essentially murdered Americans by the thousands for his inept handling of the COVID pandemic by continuing to label it as a β€œhoax perpetrated by Democrats”! When it truly was a world wide issue that required decisive leadership which he could not step up and provide. I’m just so sick of this criminal and his attack on our country and its people! He’s totally undeserving of our respect in any sense of the word! He’s totally undeserving and needs to be gone from our trust for ever!

And those who voted for him ...they are also totally undeserving of our respect. We tried to tell them what would happen. They deserve everything bad that happens to them.

It’s astounding that his numbers in foreign affairs and immigration are as high as they are. Discouraging, actually.

These positive poll numbers are too high

Hit Republicans on the Epstein coverup. If Trump is innocent, why not release the Epstein files intact?

This Republican Party deserves to sink to the bottom and have no recovery. This Republican Party ignored its responsibility to choose a proper candidate for president and has shirked all responsibilities ever since. Let it sink and sink fast and deep!

I give him a -100 and that’s being generous

I don’t know if I believe the GOP will ever own up to the mistakes they have made in standing behind Trump, and while I do want to see them get defeated in the midterms, I do know that tremendous good has come about when we have had both parties working together. That will not happen until the Republicans in Congress can admit to the harm they are causing- and more to come- and do the necessary work to bring their party back from the skids.

Semolina Pilchard's avatar

No GOP any more. Just MAGAts and normal people (Democrats)

Larry Stone's avatar

You’re finally getting it: "Trump’s second victory is more attributable to the decline in support for Democrats than any spike in popularity for Trump."

Marsha Sherman's avatar

This had to happen, especially since his No. 1 fascist group leader of The Oath Keepers came out against him because of his failure to open the Epstein files like he promised. I think it's fitting that those who were imprisoned and then pardoned by Trump are the ones turning on him now. That's what I call "justice."

Nothing says β€œFAILURE” like being under water in the polls. Now, if only that can translate into a blue wave come the midterms I can live with it. We need to stay vigilant about Republican shenanigans with voter regulations, particularly in the red states.

The Rosenbergs in the 1950s paid the ultimate price for treason but the damage Trump had done to the USA is far worse than what the Rosenbergs did .
