The Democratic primary had a big old bump in the road over the last few days, during which the biggest “insult” was Bernie Sanders saying Hillary Clinton wasn’t qualified to be President. A comment his wife Jane Sanders corrected on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show.

But this fracas is so awful y’all! It’s almost like “Lyin’ Ted” and “Little Marco” and “New York values”, only not.
The press is pleased to tell you how horrible things are because BOTH SIDES DO IT!

Is an increasingly nasty Clinton-Sanders race doing lasting damage to Democrats? Okay, this is a fair question and one Democrats should heed, especially since they are practically being handed 2016 on a silver platter given that they have two great candidates, side with the majority of the country on major issues, and the Republicans have Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and a dysfunctional Republican-led Senate proving that the dysfunctional Republican-led House wasn’t a one-off.
But in no world is this a savage primary, and when compared to the Republican one, it’s laughable to suggest things are ugly. It’s been a few days of mild personal attacks, not months worth of craziness.
Meanwhile, Ted Cruz is lobbing anti-Semitic smears at an entire city and Donald Trump wants to punish women, keep Muslims out of the country and build a wall to keep us safe from “Mexican rapists”. So, yeah. That Democratic primary is NASTY.
