Ben Carson Just Said Trump’s Kids Grew Up Plagued By The ‘Disadvantage’ Of Wealth

Ben Carson has said a lot of ridiculous things since he jumped into the political arena – and even over the past several days – but this one may take the cake.

In a Fox News interview on Thursday, the retired neurosurgeon and short-lived presidential candidate said that Trump’s children are “delightful” but grew up in a “disadvantaged environment” because of their wealth.

Carson said:

All of the Trump children are absolutely delightful people. And I think that speaks volumes about the man. Anybody who can raise children, particularly in the environment they came up in, which I think is a disadvantaged environment. Because I know a lot of people who are very rich and their kids are so spoiled, and I think it’s a disadvantage. I really do.

Carson’s remarks, as ludicrous as they are, shouldn’t surprise any of us.

Just Tuesday in his convention speech, Carson went on a strange ramble about Saul Alinsky and Hillary Clinton.

“Let me tell you something about Saul Alinsky,” he said. “He wrote a book called ‘Rules for Radicals.’ On the dedication page, it acknowledges Lucifer, the original radical who gained his own kingdom.”

“Are we willing to elect someone as president who has as their role model someone who acknowledges Lucifer?” Carson added.

In the past, Carson has compared Obamacare to slavery and the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11; he has said that men who go to prison straight come out gay; he also once compared Obama voters to Nazis.

Sure, calling Trump’s wealth a disadvantage was stunningly stupid, but it’s par for the course.
