Fox News has banned Sean Hannity from doing any further ads for Donald Trump, according to Politico.
Hannity, unbeknownst to Fox News, had appeared in a Trump promotional spot called #Heartland4Trump. Watch it below:
In the video spot, Hannity says,
“One of the reasons I’m supporting Donald Trump this year is, number one, he is going to put originalists on the Supreme Court, people that believe in fidelity to the Constitution, separation of powers, co-equal branches of government. He is a guy who will vet refugees to keep America safe. And of course, he’s going to build that wall, says he is going to have Mexico pay for it. That’s fine as long as we secure the country, and of course, we don’t want people competing for jobs.
Of course, Trump is the guy who wants to violate the Constitution by imposing ideological tests and promoting Christianity as a state religion, and we already vet refugees to keep America safe. Mexico has already said it won’t pay for his wall. And President Obama is a record job creator. Never mind facts, however.
Hannity’s appearance was a surprise, apparently, to Fox News. A Fox spokesperson told Politico, “We were not aware of Sean Hannity participating in a promotional video and he will not be doing anything along these lines for the remainder of the election season.”
As Newsweek’s Kurt Eichenwald observed yesterday,
Hannity has been an outspoken proponent of Donald Trump, and it is difficult to see much difference between his on-air boosterism and actual ads.
In other words, Sean Hannity appeared in a Trump promotional ad, and now Fox News has banned him from promoting Trump unless they are paying him to do it.

He brings a slightly different perspective to his writing, being that he is neither a follower of an Abrahamic faith nor an atheist but a polytheist, a modern-day Heathen who follows the customs and traditions of his Norse ancestors. He maintains his own blog, A Heathen’s Day, which deals with Heathen and Pagan matters, and Mos Maiorum Foundation www.mosmaiorum.org, dedicated to ethnic religion.
