With just hours until voters – the ones who haven’t already participated in early voting – cast their ballots, a slew of new Election Eve polling shows that Hillary Clinton has the momentum as the campaign reaches its conclusion.

According to at least eight national polls released on Monday, the Democratic nominee leads Donald Trump by anywhere from two to seven percentage points. According to HuffPost Pollster, Clinton now leads the race nationally by an average of 5.2 points – a comfortable position to be in with less than a day to go.

On a statewide level – arguably more important – Clinton’s advantage when it comes to the Electoral College is even more evident.

According to PoliticusUSA’s final electoral projection released today, the Democratic nominee is likely to carry states totaling more than 320 electoral votes. This coincides with Larry Sabato’s final Crystal Ball prediction showing Clinton winning 322 electoral votes to Trump’s 216. FiveThirtyEight’s forecast – one that has given chances a considerably better chance than other forecasters – also has Clinton’s chances rising just within the past hour to over 70 percent.

All the new polling and data come on the heels of FBI Director James Comey’s latest letter clearing Clinton – again – of any wrongdoing with respect to her email setup.

It’s clear that Clinton’s campaign events since Comey’s second letter have struck a more positive, unifying tone – likely a suggestion that the former Secretary of State feels good about her chances going into tomorrow. Instead of going hard against Trump, she is preparing for how to move the country forward together.

Contrast that with Trump’s closing message, which focuses heavily on attacking Clinton using repeatedly debunked arguments, and it’s clear who is winning this race right now.

Hillary Clinton hopes to cap off this momentum with a massive rally in Philadelphia on Monday night accompanied by a superstar lineup of Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill and Chelsea Clinton, and rock stars Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi. It’s expected to draw tens of thousands of supporters to cheer Clinton across the finish line.

With 24 hours to go and the wind at her back, Hillary Clinton is on the verge of making history.
