Race Baiter Invited to White House to Blame Video Games for Gun Massacres

The long history of Republicans using race to bait their base into feeling the “need” for assault weapons is being honored by President Trump.

Two sources with knowledge told Daily Beast’s Asawin Suebsaeng that race baiter Brent Bozell is set to attend a White House meeting that is following the NRA’s script by pinning the blame for the Feb. 14 mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida on video games.

Brent Bozell said on Fox in reaction to Chris Matthews saying Newt Gingrich looks like a car bomber, “How long do you think Sean Hannity’s show would last if four times in one sentence he made a comment about the president of the United States and said that he looked like a skinny ghetto crackhead — which by the way, you might want to say that Barack Obama does!”

3. Race baiter is race baiting.

The White House was supposed to release a list of policy measures to address gun violence, but instead we’ve been treated to the hourly pivot by President Trump backed up by Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders vaguing her way out of responding with it’s an “ongoing discussion” that they are “engaged” in.

That engagement is cited by this meeting. A meeting with the video gaming industry, that has zero to do with the school shooting in Florida. Trump cited his son Barron, who is 12 years old, in an anecdotal thread that never tied itself related to video games being violent.

Wayne LaPierre likes to say that guns don’t kill people, but if that’s true (and it’s not), video games most certainly do not kill people.

The NRA was Trump’s biggest donor. They spent $54 million on the 2016 election claiming that Hillary Clinton would be a danger to national security and guns. But of course it was Trump who said, “I like taking the guns early,” before due process.

An NRA correspondent suggested that the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality has inspired so much “racial hatred” that white people in America should fear for their lives, so it should not be a surprise that the president who is copying the NRA’s script for who to blame when a teenager with an AR-15 massacres 17 people has invited a race baiter for feedback.

Race baiting is what the NRA does to help drive gun sales and increase the division in this country, which is also Russia’s agenda, and both Russia and the NRA helped Trump get elected.

Race baiting is a driving factor, not an aside, and that’s why it matters that once again, the Trump White House that is dripping with clearly faulty beliefs about white supremacy invited a race baiter to a discussion meant to protect the privileged and wealthy manufacturers behind the NRA.

Note: There are a lot of voices in the media and academic world right now crying for liberals to stop talking about racism. The full extent of our racism problem has not been faced, admitted, or dealt with yet and this is why racism is still being used as a political weapon by those who seek to divide this nation and those who seek to fool voters. Ignoring racism isn’t going to make it disappear, it will only make those in power who are using it more comfortable.
