Trump is trying to stop Michael Cohen from testifying before Congress

Trump is trying to scare Michael Cohen out of testifying before Congress in February. Trump is afraid of what Cohen is going to say, and is trying to shut him up. According to former Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman, Trump is also committing a felony by intimidating witnesses, and witness intimidation carries a 20-year sentence in federal prison.

Michael Cohen has the goods on Trump. The only off-limits part of his testimony will be areas that Robert Mueller is still investigating. Cohen has already damaged Trump this week with the revelation that Trump directed him to pay a firm to rig polls for him. Cohen has also made it publicly known that Trump directed him and coordinated his false testimony to Congress about the Trump Tower Moscow project.

It is all unraveling for Trump, which is why he is cornered and committing impeachable offenses on Twitter.

Trump isn’t going to be able to stop Cohen. In fact, his behavior may motivate Cohen even more to tell his story to Congress and the American people.
