Donald Trump has only been in London for two days, but he has already managed to commit an impeachable offense.

During a discussion with MSNBC’s Ari Melber, former editor-in-chief of Slate Jacob Weisberg said that while many like to focus on the Mueller report or obstruction of justice, Trump is committing other unrelated impeachable offenses.
In particular, Weisberg pointed to a pair of tweets Trump posted shortly after he landed in London in which he threatened AT&T, which owns CNN.
“I think Donald Trump pointed at another impeachable offense yesterday when he called for a boycott on AT&T on Twitter more or less to punish CNN,” Weisberg said on MSNBC. “I think that’s an abuse of presidential authority.”

Weisberg said:
High crimes and misdemeanors is fundamentally about the abuse of power. Not all crimes are impeachable defenses and not all impeachable defenses are crimes. I think Donald Trump pointed at another impeachable offense yesterday when he called for a boycott on AT&T on Twitter more or less to punish CNN. I think that’s an abuse of presidential authority. I think there’s articles of impeachment related to corruption – the ways in which he and his family have enriched themselves through office. I think these things have to be aired. I think they have to be further investigated. I’m not certain exactly what the articles of impeachment are, but it’s not just the Mueller report. It’s not just obstruction.
The impeachable offense Trump committed almost immediately upon landing in London was just the beginning of what has been a disastrous trip to London for the president.
Whether it’s the massive protests and booing, Trump’s inability to understand what Brexit was during a press conference with the British prime minister or falling asleep during the Queen’s speech, Trump has again managed to embarrass America on the world stage.
The people of the UK will be glad when this buffoonish American president is wheels up, but Trump will be returning home to the U.S. where he remains the most corrupt and unpopular president in modern history.
