Donald Trump’s solo press conference at the G7 Summit in Canada – his first in well over a year – gave further evidence that the president’s mental health is in rapid decline.

Appearing on MSNBC, CNBC’s John Harwood said the biggest takeaway from the stunning G7 press conference wasn’t Trump’s comments on Russia or trade. It was the fact that his state of mind appears to be in rapid decline.
“I’m concerned about the president’s state of mind,” Harwood said. “He did not look well to me in that press conference.”

Harwood expressed his concerns about Trump’s mental health:
I don’t think the upshot of this press conference was about tariffs. I’ll be honest as a citizen I’m concerned about the president’s state of mind. He did not look well to me in that press conference. He was not speaking logically or rationally. It sounded as if he was making things up. … There was something about his effect which was oddly kind of languid from him. I don’t know what it means, but he did not look well to me.
Trump talked slowly and sluggishly, attacked the free press, ranked his relationship with world leaders on a bizarre 0-10 scale, and he said he’ll know how successful the Nort Korea summit will be “within the first minute” of sitting down with Kim Jong Un.
When asked how he would know so quickly if the meeting with North Korea would be a success, Trump strangely said, “My touch. My feel. That’s what I do.”
In one of the president’s only substantive comments during the entire press conference, he took time to defend Russia and repeated his desire for them to rejoin the G7, ignoring their invasion of Crimea and the 2016 attack on the U.S. election, which helped him win the presidency.
Either this president is highly medicated – or he isn’t medicated enough. Donald Trump’s performance at the G7 in Canada was just the latest reminder that his state mind is in decline, and he is unfit to be president.
