U.S. judge to lift house arrest for former Trump campaign manager Manafort

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. District Court judge on Friday said she would release former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort from house arrest once he meets certain conditions, expressing satisfaction that the $10 million he agreed to forfeit if he ever failed to appear for court proceedings would be available.

In her order, Judge Amy Berman Jackson said Manafort, who is facing charges including money laundering and failing to register as a foreign agent, would be subject to a curfew and electronic GPS monitoring, among other restrictions.
