On MSNBC’s Hardball tonight, host Chris Matthews faced off with GOP Rep. John Campbell (R-CA) that would require future presidential candidates to submit a birth certificate. Matthews asked Campbell “Was he born in this country?” Campbell answered, “Yes, I believe so.” Even a birther believes that Obama is really a citizen.
As last week dragged on, the silly bully boys of the U.S. Senate, seemingly without a clue, made an unwitting and witless spectacle of themselves with their brain-dead, slightly demented, endlessly looped and loopy questioning of Judge Sonia Sotomayor.
On his radio show today, Rush Limbaugh claimed that President Barack Obama is showing signs of being unhinged and unstable, all because of Limbaugh’s crusade against healthcare reform. This is just more delusional wishful thinking by Limbaugh, who by the way is an expert on unhinged behavior.
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough will never be mistaken for an Obama apologist, but when RNC Chairman Michael Steele tried to discuss the exploding cost of healthcare with him by using the standard GOP talking points Scarborough lit into him. Once again, Steele managed to embarrass himself on national television.
