Bill O’Reilly had Glenn Beck on his FNC program tonight for what could best be described as a tag team effort to discredit the Color of Change boycott of advertisers on Beck’s show. O’Reilly claimed that the boycott was being carried out by “left wing loons.” Beck blamed Van Jones, and the commies in the Obama administration.
On her Facebook page today, Sarah Palin showed her support for Glenn Beck today by inviting all of her followers to watch Beck. Someone needs to ask Palin, if she also agrees with Beck that President Obama is a racist?
It took less than a day for right wing talk radio to turn Ted Kennedy’s death into an argument against the public option. While filling in for Lou Dobbs on his radio show Tom Marr said, “Yes there will be bureaucrat saying no, 77 brain tumor, bye-bye. Get the pills ready, get the pain killers ready.” Of course, this is a complete lie.
Former DNC chairman Howard Dean talked today about healthcare reform and the death of Ted Kennedy. Dean wrote, “When President Obama signs a Health Care Reform bill late this year, Ted Kennedy’s may not be standing there next to him, but his presence will be deeply apparent in the Oval Office as the President’s pen moves across the page.”
Reaction is still coming in from all over the political world to the news that Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) lost his battle with brain cancer and passed away last night. Former Presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Jimmy Carter have all released statements remembering Kennedy.
