Trump Demands A Steel Fence After Democrats Kill His Wall

Trump demanded a slatted structure that can be seen through, a.k.a. a fence after Democrats told him no wall.

Trump tweeted:

In other words, Trump wants $5 billion for a fence.

A structure made of steel with slats that you can see through is a fence.

Build the artistically designed steel slats isn’t going to go over well as a chant at the rallies.

Trump isn’t fooling anyone. The president is going to try to pass off the money to fix border fencing as funds for his wall when he caves and signs the deal to keep the government open.

Last week, Trump was ready to shut down the government and own it. This morning, the Trump administration said that they don’t need the whole $5 billion that Trump demanded, and by tonight, Trump is no longer building a wall. He is building a fence, even if he won’t call it that.

The wall is dead. Mexico isn’t going to pay for it, and neither are the American taxpayers. Trump is trying to the definition of a wall to mean a fence so that he can claim victory and pretend like he kept his wall promise.

Everyone knows that a fence is not the same thing as a wall, and the bottom line is that Donald Trump is going to get neither.
