Olbermann Interviews Mancow about Being Waterboarded

Last updated on August 10th, 2014 at 05:29 pm

Conservative Chicago DJ Erich “Mancow” Muller was on MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann tonight to discuss his recent waterboarding experience. He said that it was worse than drowning, and that it was like your brain being shut off. Mancow said until you do it, you have no idea. Check out the video.

Olbermann asked Mancow why he didn’t already believe this was torture. Mancow replied, “I think waterboarding sounds like waterboarding U.S.A. like Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys could do a song about it. Look I see the video. You’ve shown the video of the sprinkling of the water, big deal. They said what was your psychological state, I was laughing at it. I was willing to prove, I was ready to prove that this was a joke, and I was wrong. It was horrific. It was instantaneous.” Mancow said until you do it, you have no idea.

The consistency in every single story from those who have experienced
waterboarding is the consensus agreement that it is torture. I don’t understand why this issue is still even being debated. It is torture. Unless someone can prove to me that all of the experts and journalists who have experienced the full waterboarding experience are wrong, I am going to stick with the people who have firsthand knowledge on the subject.
