Leader Pelosi didn’t say maybe Conyers should go, or we’ll have to see more details about the accusations, and she definitely did not pull a Trump and stand by someone who should not be in Congress. Pelosi offered the clearest statement of zero tolerance for sexual harassment of any national leader. It doesn’t matter who you are, or how long you’ve been around, any member of Congress who abuses their power and position to sexually harass needs to go.
When Republicans are drowning in a sea of immorality under Trump, Democrats are displaying the kinds of principles and values that Republicans have been missing for decades.
