Poll: Hillary Clinton Tops Obama as the Most Popular US Politician

One of the most interesting little tidbits in the latest CNN/Opinion Dynamics poll is that Barack Obama is not the most popular politician in the United States currently. Make no mistake, Obama is still popular with a 57% favorable rating, and he is still much more popular than any Republican in the country, but it is Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, not Obama, who has the highest favorability rating in the poll at 61%.

Sarah Palin: The GOP’s Self Styled False Prophet

How much longer is the myth that Sarah Palin is the GOP’s messiah going to persist? More evidence was delivered against her when then Southern Republican Leadership Conference chose to support both Mitt Romney and Ron Paul over Sarah the Savior. Palin even showed up for this gathering and spoke to the crowd, but still failed to look like anything more than the reality TV train wreck that she is.

The WikiLeaks Video and Progressive Responsibility in Unnecessary Wars

I protested the Iraq war, way before it was cool to do so, and the Wikileaks Video of “Collateral Murder†demonstrates why I opposed the invasion, but I also spent a week embedded with training soldiers, as they took on the exhaustive task of preparing for battle. Those on the left who criticize miss the point as their self-righteous reaction is a simplistic denial of their own complicity in allowing this war to be fought.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper Joins Rush Limbaugh’s Enemies List

CNN’s Anderson Cooper joined Rush Limbaugh’s enemies list last night when on his program he dared to compare Obama’s efforts on reducing nuclear weapons to Ronald Reagan’s. Limbaugh said that nobody watches Anderson Cooper because he doesn’t get that, “Reagan’s name is being taken in vain here.” Reagan has now been officially deified and Republicans are worshiping a false God.
