Trump’s choice to be the next FBI director represented Chris Christie during Bridgegate and made sure that federal investigators never got the governor’s cell phone

I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow.

Only Trump could see linking himself to Bridgegate as a step up. The fact that Wray managed to keep Christie out of prison was obviously a big selling point for the President.

FBI director hopeful Chris Wray held onto the cell phone Chris Christie used during Bridgegate and never let go. Was never obtained by feds. https://t.co/KbgEKYBbis

Trump’s top criteria for an FBI Director is loyalty to Trump, also the willingness to kill the Russia investigation would be nice too.
It’s like Trump is trying to tell everyone in the country that he is guilty on Russia. The Trump White House is the worst true crime novel ever written. There is no way that Wray should be FBI Director. Efforts to stop his confirmation should begin right now.
