The 50th anniversary of the March on Washington has been incredibly inspiring and uplifting so far. Presidents Carter and Clinton spoke after Rep John Lewis brought tears the eyes of anyone breathing.
Here are the top five quotes from the commemoration of the March on Washington today (not including President Obama’s speech, which as of this writing hasn’t taken place yet).
President Carter, “We know how Dr King would have reacted to the country being awash in guns.”
