Jared Kushner has lost his top secret security clearance and what that means in political terms is that the Trump White House is at war with itself and imploding.
Politico reported, “Presidential son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner has had his security clearance downgraded — a move that will prevent him from viewing many of the sensitive documents to which he once had unfettered access. Kushner is not alone. All White House aides working on the highest-level interim clearances — at the Top Secret/SCI-level — were informed in a memo sent Friday that their clearances would be downgraded to the Secret level, according to three people with knowledge of the situation.”

Kushner was fighting Kelly to maintain his top secret security clearance. Kelly’s memo and the downgrade of Kushner suggest that the battle lines have been drawn in the White House. Somebody is going to have to go, and since the weak and feeble president always tends to side with his kids, John Kelly may soon be history.
An important point to note is that there is nothing stopping Trump from giving Kushner all the classified information that he wants to see. Technically, the White House could downgrade Kushner on paper, but still, give him access to all sensitive information through Trump.
