In a promo that is running on Fox News, the fair and balanced network uses Wal-Mart as proof for the argument why the US doesn’t need healthcare reform. This is the same Wal-Mart that pays its employees below the poverty line, and directs them to public assistance offices for healthcare. Wal-Mart is the Fox News model for healthcare.
In an interview with North Dakota radio host Scott Hennen former vice president Dick Cheney said that it would be a mistake for the Republican Party to become more moderate. He said that doing so would mean changing the fundamental philosophy of the GOP. Cheney also said that the older Republicans should move on, but yet he is still here, helping the Democrats.
Conservative talk radio has been smoldering the air waves today with criticism of President Barack Obama over his choice of condiments. The fact that Obama ordered a cheeseburger for lunch yesterday with Dijon mustard, not ketchup is proof to them that the president is an un-American elitist. Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Mark Steyn have all criticized Obama’s burger.
Yesterday on his Fox News Show Glenn Beck got into a fiery confrontation with one of his guests ACORN spokesperson Scott Levinson. During the commercial break Beck told Levinson that his organization is bad for America. Levinson replied that Beck is afraid of black people. This caused Beck to kick him out of the studio.
On CNBC, Rick Santelli went on another rant, but when told that we have to worry about ordinary Americans, Santelli said that ordinary Americans, “should get a better education and earn more money,” but at the same he blasted spending more money for education.
