Fox News Pushes Obama Stimulus Conspiracy Theory

Fox News has hopped on the latest right wing conspiracy theory that congressional districts that supported Barack Obama are getting more federal stimulus money that those that supported McCain. Fox News’ Stuart Varney opened his piece with, “It’s not who you know, but who you voted for…” Of course, FNC ignored the obvious explanation for the imbalance.

Right Winger Argues Against Food as a Basic Human Right

On MSNBC this afternoon, Firedoglake’s Jane Hamsher, and Townhall’s Jillian Bandes were engaged in the standard lefty/righty blogger cable news debate on healthcare, when the discussion turned to healthcare as a basic human right like food is Bandes asked, “Should food be a basic human right?” Well yes it should be, and is a basic human right.

When Plato and Palin Collide on Twitter

Ever since her resignation announcement, soon to be former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has been waxing philosophically on her Twitter account, where today’s attempt at depth was a quote that she attributed to Plato, only it was never uttered by Plato, but instead comes from 1670 gentleman’s etiquette guide. When Palin and Plato collide, the results aren’t pretty.

Palin’s Magic Math Debunked

Remember how Bailin’ Palin was quittin’ to save Alaskans money from all the “Political operatives (who) descended on Alaska” and charged all those mean, pesky ethics complaints against Her Royal Self? She claimed that the ethics investigations cost 2 million dollars. The problem is that her math doesn’t add up. It is time to debunk another Palin myth.
