This Christmas is shaping up like every other year’s end since President Obama has been in office, with Republicans holding the economy hostage over the level of damage they can inflict.
After House Republicans imploded over their own Plan B, President Obama took away much of his previous proposal by calling for Republicans to get their act together and cut taxes on the 98% right now.
To tell the truth, I am a little afraid – not that the world will end, but that life goes on and I have relatively little control over whatever the future might hold for me and my family.
The defeat of his Plan B has left John Boehner so broken, demoralized, and defeated that in response to a media question he could only sort of quote Kid Rock.
