In heartwarming news of the day, Al Franken (D-MN) and his wife Frannie are “thrilled” to welcome their first grandchild, Joseph Bryson Greenwald.
“Franni and I are thrilled that our grandson Joseph Bryson Greenwald was born yesterday,” said Sen. Franken. “He came in at 6 pounds 11 ounces. Mother and baby are healthy and happy. Somehow, in the last few hours, Franni and I have already managed to spoil the baby.”
“This has been an amazing experience for our family and I’m just so filled with love, joy and happiness,” said Franni. “Just call me grandma.”

Joseph Bryson Greenwald was born Thursday, May 30, to proud parents Thomasin Franken and Brody Greenwald.
