Donald Trump got the same favorite world leader question that Gary Johnson couldn’t answer. Trump did answer the question. He blew the question by immediately taking his answer back.

Trump at least came up with a name of an actual world leader, which means that he cleared the Johnson bar. The problem is that the name he blurted out is of someone who he constantly criticizes.
He has literally used Angela Merkel’s name as a slur against Hillary Clinton, “Hillary Clinton wants to be America’s Angela Merkel, and you know what a disaster this massive immigration has been to Germany and the people of Germany–crime has risen to levels that no one thought they would ever see. We have enough problems in our country, we don’t need another one.â€
Trump didn’t name Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. He blurted out Merkel and then realized that his base hates Merkel, so he took it back.
For her part, Hillary Clinton had no trouble with the favorite world leader question:
