Ivanka And Jared Might Not Be In The White House Much Longer

Though “Javanka” — Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner — once seemed to be the two least likely people the president would ever want to leave the White House, recent events have made their departure a real possibility. Talking Points Memo reports that sources close to the president have heard him wondering aloud whether his daughter and son-in-law would be better off returning to their former life in New York City.

Trump is apparently frustrated with the continual negative headlines Kushner attracts, whether they be about his complicated business dealings with foreign entities or, most recently, the embarrassing stripping of his top secret security clearance.

The couple has also found themselves in a battle of sorts with chief of staff John Kelly, who they reportedly see as carrying out deliberate efforts to limit their access to the president. Kelly, who was hired to bring order to the White House, is apparently fed up with Javanka’s tendency to change the president’s mind about different matters at the last minute. Kelly also reportedly wonders what exactly it is that the two do with their time.

Not only might Trump soon become fed up with the presence of his daughter and her husband, but they themselves might also come to the conclusion that their diminished roles are too much of an indignity to bear. Kushner’s inability to get his hands on top secret information will make his ambitious project for achieving peace in the Middle East nearly impossible. Ivanka, as the self-appointed champion for women’s rights in the administration, continues to invite ridicule every time she speaks in favor of women’s advancement while turning a blind eye to her father’s own misogynist past and the long list of ways he’s attacked women’s rights while in office.
