Mueller Subpoenaed A Trump Witness To Hand Over Documents Dating Back To 2015

According to numerous reports, special counsel Mueller has issued yet another subpoena. This time, the person being asked to comply is an unnamed witness who’s had communication with Trump and others in his campaign for years.

The person will have to hand over, among other records, text messages, emails, phone logs, and work documents dating back as far November 2015.

The witness in question has communicated with Trump himself and a long list of people who were formerly or currently in his inner circle, including Steve Bannon, Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Hope Hicks, Corey Lewandowski, Roger Stone, and others.

The Russia investigation has continued to heat up, despite Trump’s lawyers continuously assuring him that the probe should end any day now.

Most recently, Trump’s former communications director Hope Hicks, who resigned last week, admitted during questioning by the House Intelligence Committee that working for Trump meant she sometimes had to tell “white lies.”

On his end, Trump continues to insist the Russia probe is a “witch hunt,” a narrative that’s become increasingly difficult to maintain as more of his former staffers plea guilty and more evidence of suspicious communication between his campaign and Russia comes to light.
