Trump Just Showed His Fear Of Robert Mueller’s Testimony

While speaking to reporters, Trump tried to preemptively discredit Robert Mueller before the special counsel testifies on Wednesday.

Trump said:

No, I am not going to be watching. I will see a little bit of it. I am not going to be watching Mueller of it because you can’t take all those bites out of the apple. We have no collusion. No obstruction, we have no nothing. We have a total of no collusion finding. The Democrats were devastated by it. They went crazy. They gone off the deep end and not doing anything and healthcare, they’re not lowering drug prices. I am lowering drug prices. First time in 53 years drug prices went down. I am doing that without the help of congress which makes it tougher to do because if they work with us, I can get drug prices down in half.

The Democrats don’t seem to care about drug prices. All they care about is a phony investigation where the report was written. No collusion. The report was written and the attorney general based on the report was easily able to find there was no obstruction. Mueller is conflicted and including the fact that his best friend is James Comey. He wanted the job of FBI director, he did not get it. We had a business relationship where I said “No” and he was not happy all of a sudden, he gets the position. No collusion and no obstruction, this thing should have ended for a long time ago. This thing has been going on for 2.5 years. We’ll never allow this to happen this again.

The House has passed healthcare and prescription drug cost bills

Among Trump’s litany of lies were the obvious. Mueller never wrote no collusion and no obstruction, and the devious. House Democrats passed an entire suite of legislation dealing with lowering prescription drug prices and strengthening the ACA in May. Mitch McConnell is refusing to act on the legislation in the Senate. Trump’s claims about Democrats only being focused on investigations are absurdly false, but essential for the president to be able to keep his “witch hunt” narrative alive.

If Mueller cleared Trump, why is the president smearing the former special counsel?

Trump claims that Mueller cleared him, but if this is the case, why is he attacking Mueller? The answer is that Mueller’s report didn’t clear Trump at all. In fact, it makes it clear that Trump only escaped indictment because of a DOJ opinion that a sitting president can’t be indicted. Trump is afraid because even if Mueller just sticks to the report, he is going to blow Trump’s story out of the water.

The president is scared because Robert Mueller is coming, and he is bringing the truth along for the ride.
