Senate Democrats Just Stopped Trump’s Obamacare Sabotage Dead In In Its Tracks

Trump’s days of sabotaging Obamacare are over thanks to Senate Democrats.

Video:

Senate Democratic Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said, “We’ve achieved stability of this agreement becomes law. We also put in some very significant anti-sabotage provisions. The President had been sabotaging this bill, and the agreement would undo much of that sabotage. The agreement also prevents Trump from engaging in future acts of sabotage, and with the way things are looking, if Democrats control all or part of Congress after the midterm election, Trump’s days of sabotaging Obamacare will be over.

As has become the norm, Trump appears to have no idea what is in the agreement, even though he claims to be involved:

Trump called the deal a good short-term solution but doesn’t have any idea that the agreement would also stop him from trying to destroy ACA from within.

Democrats and Republicans cut a fair agreement. Republicans are going to get faster implementation of waiver requests for the states, and Democrats get the CSR payments and an end to Trump’s attempts to undermine the law.

Republicans in Congress know that the premium increases will be on them, so don’t be surprised if this deal gets just enough GOP support to go to Trump’s desk. Trump will probably sign it, and proclaim Obamacare dead, even while he strengthens the law.
